Consultant with Impact 21 Group, with over 13 years of experience in the petroleum / convenience / Big Box retail industry. With Impact 21 Group, he has predominately been working with small to mid size chains to automate and integrate those technologies and automated processes into their business model. John has also been involved in helping to improve task management through Time and motion studies and operational reviews at all levels of the company. John was formerly Pricebook Manager and Retail Automation / Operations Special Project Manager with TravelCenters of America. He was responsible for coordinating product rollouts and development for SAP retail and review and testing of multiple POS options at TravelCenters of America. He also coordinated the staging, training and installation of hardware and software upgrades for both back office, home office, pay at the pump, and POS. In addition he coordinated all operational manuals and policies and was responsible for the advanced training of new managers in regards to POS/ Back Office/inventory and procedures. John also assisted the coordination of integrating all store operations financial reporting with SAP and other accounting functions with the store back office computer and the definition and maintenance of merchandising and accounting policies and procedures.
