Pete Barrett is a Principal Consultant with Impact 21 Group and has over 20 years experience in supermarket operations, in addition to over three years experience recently in the petroleum/convenience retail industry with Pilot Travel Centers, LLC. Prior to joining the Impact 21 team, Pete held both divisional operation and corporate procurement positions with Winn-Dixie Food Stores, Jacksonville, FL. Responsibilities included operations and financials for 144 supermarket locations located in South Georgia and North Florida as Retail Operations Superintendent, managing sales of $1.8B . Throughout Pete's career in the supermarket industry, he held division positions in Work Methods and Labor Analysis, Inventory Loss Prevention, and Risk Management. He was Director of Produce and Floral Operations in addition to five years of category management. Pete assisted with the reorganization of the Jacksonville Division to include store plan modifications, layout and department "right-sizing". He has experience in all aspects of store operations and facility management.
